 This episode was not complex at all. It was straight to the point. The imagery and differences in time frame were obvious. The episode in a whole was pretty well put together for an Anime Original. The animation was well drawn, and they set it up pretty well. It wasn't over thought too much, and, as with most every episode in Detective Conan, there is the lame reason for the murder that we end up ignoring or forgetting by next week at the end.
This episode is based in band hall of some sort. The band S&G are playing on stage; one of their songs being a mock-up of 'Everlasting Luv', the current openning theme to the Detective Conan anime. Mouri Kogoro had brought Ran and Conan here after being dragged around shopping by Ran in order to drink himself into a stupor. Surprise, surprise. Though he offers them 'as much as they want', the food seems incredibly cheap At one point, Conan takes a break for the toilet, takeing his time to admire the childish crayon drawings on the wall. After the show the drummer requests a signature from Mouri Kogoro, and Kogoro has Conan run off to get more of the snacks. When he returns, he finds Ran missing. Turns out that drummer of S&G had a CD she really wanted and showed her the way to the green room. This is where it gets tricky. Take in the scene; you have plenty of time to do so. All the instruments are nicely put away, but not the bass drum. You get to see this for a while as the drummer, Yuusuke, heads into the room. You don't get a clear view of him, but from inside, you can hear his voice, and eventually, his scream. Ran rushes in to find Yuusuke with a horrified expression, shaking like a leaf on the ground and pointing at something covered in a cloth with a pale hand that has Yukiko's glove on. One can only put one and one together in this situatio, especially with what Yuusuke claimed to have seen. Ran rushes off to get Mouri Kogoro (instead of the police officer just down the hall) leaving Yuusuke alone. When she returns the scene is obviously different. For one, the bass drum has 'disappeared' from the scene. Mouri and Conan head into thecrime scene and lift the blanket from the corpse on the floor to see Yukiko facedown with obvious purple marks for fingers on the back of her neck, and a green smudge which Conan notices. Ran is told toget the police by her father (finally.) From here, if you hadn't already take the clues and put one and one together to get at least half of the mystery solved, then I suggest you watch it over and pay a bit more attention to the details. In the end Foriensics found out that the green smudge on Yukiko's arm was indeed crayon. Seeing as therewere no crayonsin the green room, the only place to get such a mark would be eighth floor where Conan had first noticed the children's crayon drawings. It turns out one of them had been smudged sometime after the show. From this, it's figured that Yukiko had been attacked on the eighth floor. This means that the crime did not happen in the green room, but on the eighth floor. This means the body had to of been transported in some way. Near the shin of the body had been a rectangular mark; a mark left by the metal fitting of the drum case's handle. From here, putting everything together had just become disgustingly easy. There is only one person that could have set up an intricate plan such as this. The culprit is pointed out to have been Nakamura Yuusuke; only he could have done it. He had taken a hand from a manequin and placed it within his guiter to hide itas he and Ran had headed down into the Green Room. While Ran waited outside, Yuusuke had thaken the manequin's hand with Yukiko's glove on it just barely under the blanket, but out in the open enough for Ran to be able to notice it. This, along with a few cushions helped him to fool Ran and have her head up to fetch her father. When Ran had gone, all he had to do was take him bass drum case with Yukiko's body stuffed inside, retreive the body, and shove it under the blanket after replacing her missing glove. Then, replacing the bass drum into its case and the mannequin's hand into his guitar, Yuusaku was able to move the case back outside and get into position before anyone arrived. Though,he didn't have time to tune hi guitar, which is what killed him in this case. Now, why would he do such a thing? Because Yukiko and Shouta had both been reqruited to another band. She insulted the band she had been in, making them seem as if they were only a stepping stone in her rise to fame. Yuusuke broke into rage, which is when he rushed Yukiko and strangled her to death. This case is very straight forward and simple. I enjoyed it, but it could have been a bit more challenging. We've finally got our hands on the newest installment to the Detective Conan Movie Series, Detective Conan: Full Score of Fear! This film is THE longest DC movie so far, with a total time span of 1 hour 56 minutes, with the rest averaging 1 hour 39 minutes. Our response to the new film that it was a very enjoyable film, probably the best Detective Conan film we've seen since Detective Conan: Magician of the Silver Sky.
Director Taiichiro Yamamoto and Screenwriter Kazunari Furuuchi did an excellent job with this film, better than their few previous DC films before this one. They took the atmosphere, action, comedy, and moments from some of the better DC films and put it into Full Score of Fear. The scenes and sequences are by far the best than any previous DC film with more 3D visuals of vehicles, helicopters, buildings, and the natural environment. Don't forget that the case for the film is one of the better ones in the DC Movie Series.
 The settings were so settle and soft, and the story/plot was great. The film gives us how much more of a relationship that both Shinichi and Ran have with each other, which gives us some of the best moments since Magician of the Silver Sky. The humor is pretty good, especially parts with Kogoro and Genta, and a couple with Conan as well when talking with Ai. The choreography of the film we think is one of the best, which we would say in the top 4 best. Overall, we gave Detective Conan: Full Score of Fear 4.5 out of 5 stars, and this film has become one of our favorites, and that is pretty good for a film that succeeded Movies 9, 10, and 11 that weren't so hot.
So, we've also typed up spoilers of the movie, but before you go there (at your own risk), we've put up a mini clip that was shown after the film, displaying that Movie 13 has been confirmed, and that the DC logo was being swallowed up by some sort of black substance, along with the voice of Gin. Detective Conan: Full Score of Fear opens up at some sort of music college and then taking us to a music hall with three individuals practicing... well, two did practicing with one sitting and listening to the two others practicing. The one listening was sending a text with her cellphone, and once she pressed send, the entire room exploded thus bringing us to the film's title screen and the introduction to the Detective Conan main story arc.
 After the title screen, we're then taken to the Mouri residence with Ran walking home from school, and talking on her cell to what it appears that she's talking to Shinichi (with Conan using his Voice-Changer Bowtie). Conan (a.k.a. Shinichi) was standing in front of the music hall where the room exploded and was closed off. During their discussion, Conan finds a piece of a piano keyboard underneath some bushes. He then spots an old man holding another piece of a piano keyboard, looking at the music hall, and then leaves, which made Conan a little suspicious. After Ran and "Shinichi" finish their conversation, Conan then goes back to working on the case.
We're then at the huge theatre hall which held a gigantic organ, where a few musicians were practicing for their show. Conan, Ran, Kogoro, Prof. Agasa, Sonoko, Ai, Genta, Ayumi, and Mitsuhiko were present at the practice, along with Officers Takagi, Sato, Shiratori, and Inspector Meguire to question the musicians (who might be the suspects) who knew the people that were killed in the explosion and who might have known about it. With no surprise, they didn't get anywhere and the gang soon left the theatre hall.
 Next, Ran and Sonoko were playing a game of tennis at a tennis court against one another. When Ran was about to serve the ball, Sonoko was talking and mentioned something about Shinichi. Which then got Ran pissed off and she served the ball so hard, it flew so fast, nicked the right cheek of Sonoko, and then made a round impression on the fence. Sonoko was about to wet her pants afterwards. The two were then sitting on a bench taking a break from tennis, and were discussing the matter once again, which leads us to Ran having a little flashback of both her and Shinichi walking along the river when they were in middle school, thus leading us to a classroom where Conan, Ran, Sonoko, Ai, the Detective Boys and Reiko were doing a choir with the children singing.
When Reiko was giving her opinion on the choir, she was about to leave until she noticed her thermous cup was not in her bag, and saw Genta taking a sip of the drink, then Genta was poisoned, however Reiko was suppose to be the one, thus making her as the victim of the case. The gang rushed Genta to the hospital, where he was fine afterward, except losing his voice from here till toward the end of the film.
 The gang walk down a street after taking Genta to the hospital, where they talk to one another and miding their business enjoying the walk, until all of a sudden, a dump truck comes up behind the gang and tries to run them over. The gang took a right, however, Reiko takes a left and the truck follows her, and Conan runs after Reiko trying to save her. Reiko trips and falls onto the street and was about to get run over, until another car comes in front of her and the truck, which makes the truck abruptly turn right to prevent a car collision and stops. Conan runs over to the truck to see if the suspect was there, which he/she wasn't. The gang was then talking to a cop on what happened.
Then, we go to a musician's apartment when the musician is coming home. He sits his instrument case on the counter and he sits down on the bar stool. He pulls out a cigarette, and when he light a match, his apartment explodes. The fire department and police arrive, which included Officers Takagi, Sato, Shiratori, Chiba, and Inspector Meguire. Sato comes up to the guys and showed them a piece of a flute, which was another piece that was found at the music hall where the explosion took place at the beginning of the film.
Afterwards, we're at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Building where Officers Takagi, Sato, Shiratori, Inspector Meguire, Conan, Ran, and Kogoro are having a discussion in a room trying to make connections of suspects and victims in the case and to see if anybody might have a grunge against someone.
 Next, Conan walks over to Reiko's apartment to discuss with her more on the case. As Conan looks around her apartment and finds a flute similar to the one being found in pieces at the musician's apartment and at the music hall, along with a photo of Reiko and a man who must be her father. When he about to take a closer look, Reiko closes the curtain to prevent Conan from looking at it much longer. Back at the Police HQ, Takagi, Sato, Shiratori, and Meguire were talking about the guy that was in Reiko's photo (the one that was behind a flute in her apartment), which they had another photo of him playing a flute. Conan and Reiko then take a walk through the woods on a trail, when they're suddenly being shot at by the culprit, with one bullet grazing Reiko's upper ankle, and managed to escape from being killed. As the two get back to Reiko's apartment building, Takagi, Sato, and Meguire were waiting for her to ask some more questions, but she refused to do so and went back to her apartment.
Over to the Mouri residence, Kogoro, Takagi, Sato, and Meguire were discussing more on the case, while Conan was looking at Takagi's notes which had some information, including a lisence plate number. Then Mouri "figures out" who the culprit is, and points to Hans Muler and accuses him of murder, which turns out to be bogus coming from Kogoro.
The gang and the musicians are back at the theatre hall for practice of their show that will take place on that night, and are suited up for it. Conan was sitting by himself till Reiko came up to him to talk with him before doing her part in the practice warm-up. After the rehearsal, the gang was leaving the theatre hall, but Conan decided to saty and talk with Reiko more. After talking for a little bit and walking to the lake, they were hit by the culprit, using a wrench to knock them out.
Later on when the theatre hall was being filled up by spectators, the musicians were worried about Reiko that she hasn't arrived yet, and then decided to go on without her.
Conan wakes up and uncovers a tarp realizing that they're trapped in a small boat in front of a dam with no way of getting out. Meanwhile, back at the theatre hall, explosions were talking place outside of it, destroying each pillar that supports it. Back at the dam, Conan and Reiko were trying to figure out a way to get out of their current situation. However, they oddly managed to find a way to call for help. Takagi and Sato came with a helicopter to rescue the two, stranded individuals.
 Back at the theatre hall, many spectators were awing on how amazing the music was. Then the helicopter arrives, with Conan, Reiko, Takagi, Sato, and Meguire looking at the theatre hall being engulfed by smoke and flamed from the explosions. They then took a risk of landing the helicopter for a short period of time dropping off the four on the rooftop. Reiko and Conan let Sato and Takagi find where the bombs were, while they try to find the culprit and delay more explosions from happening. Conan and Reiko come up with some plan, and Reiko starts singing 'Amazing Grace' while Conan heads off to confront the culprit. When the organist plays 'Amazing Grace' along with Reiko, Ran then remembers and takes us to her flashback with her and Shinichi standing on a walk-path along the river, seeing Reiko singing that song.
Conan then confronts the culprit, which turns out to be the old man that Conan saw at the music hall, holding a piece of the keyboard and looking at the music hall at the beginning part of the film. Conan talks to him and reveals everything about the case before the culprit. After Conan reveals everything, the culprit tells Conan that he placed a bomb behind the organ and was about to push the detonator, till Sato fires a bullet from her gun and hits the culprit's hand, destroying the detonator.
When the gang arrives in the room, the culprit gives his reasons why he took this sort of action. He then pulls out his gun, but was confronted by the organist and explains the culprit everything.
 After the culprit is taken away to the Police HQ, the gang was outside, looking at the theatre hall still on fire, but the firemen were taking out the flames. Then, Ran and Sonoko hear the sound of a violin from the distance, and was from the woods. Ran realizes that it was Shinichi playing it and runs off in to the woods, and finds herself at a water fountain. She was looking for Shinichi, but he was nowhere to be found, but found Conan carrying a violin. Conan tells Ran that Shinichi will come back someday, thus ending the film.
