'The Lost Ship In The Sky', The Latest DC Film Installment |

 This week, the Official Detective Conan Movie Site updated the website with content of the latest installment in the Detective Conan Film Franchise. They also have officially announced the title to 'The Lost Ship In The Sky'. At the very end of the film The Raven Chaser, they showed a teaser of The Lost Ship In The Sky which we assume the next film will be taking place in a blimp. We've also noticed that Kaito Kid will be making his first appearance since The Private Eyes' Requiem. Another interesting thing that we notice was the teaser poster where Kaito Kid and Ran are about to kiss one another. Could we see this sort of situation in the upcoming film? We'll have to find out in the official trailer and the film itself.

 For the second time in Detective Conan history, and for the first time for a Detective Conan film, to be released on the Blu-Ray Disc. 'The Raven Chaser' was given the honor to be the first solo Detective Conan anime in the series to be on Blu-Ray. This should be the starting point to where we'll see more Detective Conan content to be released onto Blu-Ray. If you would like to purchase the film on Blu-Ray since we share the same region coding with Japan, you can order it at Amazon.com.  Some very great news for many DC Fans around the world; according to Box Office Mojo, Detective Conan: The Raven Chaser Is the #1 movie in Japan! Although the movie is playing on 341 screens in the country, it made ¥588,525,119.86 in Japanese Yen, which is $6,021,234 in US Dollars. This is some very awesome news, even though we weren't surprised because almost all DC films are #1 in there opening weekend and continue to be #1 for several more weeks or months. So we hope that The Raven Chaser will continue to be #1 in Japan's Box Office for weeks/months to come! |

The wait is coming to a close this week. This weekend, 'Detective Conan: The Raven Chaser' will be premiering in theatres everywhere in Japan. We won't be able to review the movie for a while like we did with 'Full Score of Fear' till the movie comes out on DVD in October/November. However, we hope to start on doing other reviews on other DC films and possibly Case Closed DVD sets sometime until we see 'The Raven Chaser'. |

The Official DC Movie Website has released the latest fourteenth film installment of Detective Conan, The Lost Ship in the Sky. In the trailer, it appears that the air ship (or blimp) has been hijacked by a terrorist group, and we see Kaito Kid make an appearance in the trailer. Watch the trailer below:
